Hadassah & NJMW.org

NJWM.org and Hadassah partner to give donors and supporters additional ways to remember and honor their loved ones both personally and spiritually.

By offering complementary email Yahrzeit Reminders along with other commemorative services, Hadassah expands their Perpetual Yahrzeit Services offerings to better connect, maintain and perpetuate families for current and future generations.

The words of the Mourner’s Kaddish have comforted Jews throughout the centuries. We recite it to honor loved ones who once filled our lives, and are now departed. NJMW.org provides a free email Yahrzeit Reminder service to help you remember the important day. At the same time, Hadassah's Perpetual Yahrzeit Services can have Kaddish said each year in the Abbell Synagogue in Jerusalem under Marc Chagall’s breathtaking stained glass windows depicting the 12 tribes of Israel.

Hadassah and NJMW.org are focused on providing individuals appropriate services to help with commemorating loved ones in the time-honored tradition of reciting kaddish annually.

About Hadassah

Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to its partnership with the land and people of Israel. It enhances the health of people worldwide through its support of medical care and research at the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem. Hadassah empowers its members and supporters, as well as youth in Israel and America through opportunities for personal growth, education, advocacy and Jewish continuity.

Hadassah's History

The history of Hadassah begins with the extraordinary Henrietta Szold in the year 1912. A trip to desolate pre-State Israel profoundly affected her. She devoted the rest of her long life to the health and well-being of her people and what was to become their Jewish homeland. The results of her “practical Zionism” can be seen today in Hadassah’s two world-class medical centers, including the soaring Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital, in Jerusalem.
